This artwork is a site-specific creation that reflects on how to experience and perceive an abstract space. In a narrow white box space, through the rotation of a motor, a charcoal pencil connected to a copper strip leaves a moving trace on the wall. Based on the daily positioning of the artwork, the path of the arc will be imprinted throughout the space. Over time, the disappearing material will be preserved and recorded in the entire space until the end of the exhibition period.
這件作品為一件現地製作,也是對於如何去經驗與感受一個抽象空間的思考。在一座狹長的白盒子空間,藉著馬達的轉動,使連接於銅條末端的炭筆在牆面留下移動的軌跡,並根據每日作品位置的調度,弧線的路徑會被壓印在空間各處,隨著時間的推移,消逝的物質會被完整的儲存與記錄在整個空間,直到展期結束。
