This project involves collecting soil from a cemetery near Guanyin Mountain and shaping it into clay sculptures. These sculptures are then fired, similar to the paper offerings burned for the deceased or the accompanying burial objects used in rituals. It represents the artist's desire and imagination of the underworld city. Through the exchange format of capsule toys, the audience is invited to knead and create elements, objects, structures, and more that they believe an ideal city should possess, from the perspective of the living, within the circular space that serves as both an exhibition platform and a workstation. By using the "city" as the unit and through the ritual of exchange, the project aims to reflect the intersection between the two realms.Perhaps these needs will eventually turn into a pile of dust.
